The legal practice of advocate Piotr Zemła focuses on criminal and penal-fiscal cases and economic crime (including white-collar crimes). He has also represented clients in disciplinary proceedings and in processes regarding the truthfulness of lustration declarations.
Piotr Zemła acted as counsel for the defense or proxy in very diverse criminal proceedings – from cases involving organized crime and drug offenses, through crimes concerning VAT fraud, to economic crime.
In the beginning, he gained his professional experience in leading law firms in Warsaw, above all at the office of his Patron – Professor Piotr Kruszyński Ph.D., and since 2017 he has been running his own practice, while also cooperating with leading law firms.
Piotr Zemła also provides legal assistance to financial market entities – in the area of counteracting fraud – representing such entities as the aggrieved in criminal proceedings.
He is vice-president of the Section of Criminal Law and Procedure at the District Bar Association in Warsaw.
Currently, he is completing his doctoral studies at the Institute of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.
